San Antonio police still do not know who killed a 21-year-old man in an empty North Side parking lot.
The man was Julian Anthony Guzman-Clark. The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office gave his name.
Police say a gunman shot him at about 10:40 p.m. on Friday, June 5. It happened in the 2100 block of Vance Jackson Road.
The parking lot was vacant. Police say a small SUV followed Guzman-Clark into the lot. Then the gunman fired several shots.
A caller told police about a person who would not wake up. Officers got there just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6.
They found Guzman-Clark with several gunshot wounds to his upper body. He died at the scene.
Officers found five bullet casings near the entrance to the lot. No shooter was there when police arrived. Police say no witnesses were found either.
Earlier that same night, someone called police about a taco truck nearby. A bullet had hit the truck. Police say they do not yet know if the two calls are linked.
Three months have gone by. Police have not named a suspect. No one has been arrested.
On Sept. 7, police and San Antonio Crime Stoppers asked the public for help again.
