๐จ A man who was already on the sex offender list is going back to federal prison.
Jason Doehring is 55 years old. He lives in Pearland, Texas. He got 10 years in federal prison. He had already done time for a sex crime before. Now he goes back.
A federal judge in Galveston gave him the sentence. Judge Jeffrey Vincent Brown sentenced him to 120 months in prison. After he gets out, he faces five more years of close watch. He will not be allowed near kids. He will not have open internet access. He will have to sign the sex offender list again.
He said he was guilty on October 15, 2025.
๐ Agents searched his home and found more than 300 child abuse images.
The case started in 2022. Cops found out Doehring was looking at kids' social media pages. On February 9, 2022, agents got a warrant and searched his home in Pearland. They took 11 devices from the house. They found more than 300 child abuse images on his laptop.
Federal agents with ICE ran the case. Two federal prosecutors, Ekua Assabill and Kimberly Leo, took it to court.
