A teen in Laredo now faces four serious charges. A young girl said he abused her more than once when she was a child.
Laredo police got the call on August 1, 2025. Officers went to a home in South Laredo. The girl told them the boy had hurt her several times in the past.
Detectives sat down with her for a special interview. She told them what happened. They used her words to get arrest warrants.
Ten months passed. On June 9, 2026, police served the teen with those warrants.
He now faces four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. All four are first-degree felonies. That means each count can bring 5 to 99 years in prison, or life.
He is a minor. Police did not release his name.
Laredo police are on the case. No court date is set yet.
